Wallace Noel Brian, 87, of Loveland went home to be with his beloved Jesus April 25, 2008. Born April 23, 1921, in Arriba, Colorado, to Benjamin and Effie Brian, the youngest of their ten children. A World War II and Korean War veteran, Wally spent over 25 years of distinguished service to his country in the United States Marine Corps and Army. In 1947, he married his beloved companion of 61 years, Shirley Anne Raymond of Denver, Colorado.He is survived by his wife, Shirley, daughter, Linda, son Lloyd and his wife Susan, and his four grandchildren, Brian, Chad, Dana, and Amanda. He is preceded in death by his parents and eight of his brothers and sisters.Wally enjoyed his retirement years in Loveland by gardening, doing leathercrafts and devoted service of 40 years to his church family at Grace Community Church.Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the Bill Reed Auditorium, 245 W. 4th Street in Loveland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Community Church Building Fund or to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
