William R. Owens, 92, of Fort Collins passed away October 3, 2007. William was born on November 15, 1914 in Wakeeney, KS. He married Teresa Burger in Brighton, CO. William completed basic training for the Army in Dillon, CO. He was stationed in Berma and China during World War II.William worked as a farmer. He also participated in the Farmers Markets for 10 to 15 years as well operating a Pumpkin Patch.William was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa. He is survived by his son Ronald Owens and daughter Pat Layman.Funeral service are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
