Anita Louise Schwartz

Anita was 87 years old and is survived by her daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Eric Ibara, and granddaughters Emily and Elise. She was born in Harrisburg, Illinois. The family relocated to Tucson, AZ where she grew up. Anita attended local primary school and received her diploma at Tucson High School. After earning her bachelor degree from the University of Arizona in Education and Music, Anita began her teaching career in elementary education. At an Open House at Davis Monthan Air Force base, Anita met her husband-to-be, Lieutenant Robert Schwartz. Bob’s 26 year career took them on assignments all over the world. After settling in southern California, Anita began a second career in corporate travel and then management training. After retiring, Anita and Bob sold their Cypress home in 2016 where they had lived for over 30 years and moved to Morningside in Fullerton.

A Remembrance Service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 24 at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, 902 N. Harbor Blvd. in Fullerton. Anita’s final resting place will be with Bob at Riverside National Cemetery. The burial will be at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 25.
