Carolyn Ruhle

Our beloved mother, Carolyn Olson Ruhle, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the age of 63, at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, California. Carolyn was surrounded by her daughters and loved ones at the time of her passing. Carolyn was the first baby born at St Jude Fullerton in 1958. She worked at the Fullerton Sav-ons, and CVS Pharmacy, for 35 years. Her favorite pastimes were time spent making memories with her kids, grandkids, good friends and of course her favorite, BINGO at the Elks Lodge!!!

 Carolyn was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved her family and friends dearly. Carolyn had a huge giving heart, a fun and “off-the-wall” sense of humor and she loved to have a good laugh. She was a hard working single mother of four beautiful daughters whom she loved with all her heart and was so very proud of. She would say, “My kids are my life and I’d do anything for them!” And she did.

 Her love, generosity, and strength were admirable and unforgettable. She was a genuine, kindhearted person with a compassionate spirit. She was someone you could always count on to be there for you when you needed someone the most. Resourceful by nature, she took it upon herself to help those around her by making sure everyone got what was needed. She had a gift for helping people and helping others was what truly made her happy. 

 Carolyn was a selfless, humble, and kind soul with an immeasurable amount of strength and courage that she instilled into her daughters. She is so loved and dearly missed, but will always be in our hearts. Carolyn's message to the world would be to help others every chance you get. 

 Carolyn is predeceased by her parents Richard and Barbara Olson and survived by her four daughters, two granddaughters, three brothers, four sisters, seven nephews and twelve nieces.

Memorial services will be held at McAulay and Wallace Mortuary at 1pm on October 9th in Fullerton, California. Celebration of life reception will be held at The Elks lodge at 3:30pm on October 9th in Fullerton, California.
