Dianne Marie Tiffin, 59, of Anaheim Hills, passed away surrounded by her family and friends on January 6, 2011 at UCI Medical Center, after a long illness. Born in Lynwood, California, June 23, 1951, to Frank and Lucille Strong, Dianne loved being a big sister, playing the accordion and spending time with her extended family throughout her childhood. She was on the drill team for Villa Park High School and attended Santa Ana College where she received her RN degree. She went on to become a gifted ICU and trauma nurse. Diannes career in health care led her to become a Case Manager at UCI Medical Center in the burn unit, where she loved and helped countless patients. She was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and finding the best sushi around, usually with her brother-in-law. Dianne loved being surrounded by family and friends and was very proud to be a recipient of a kidney transplant in 2004. She had an adventurous streak and loved swimming, waterskiing, and snow skiing. Some of her favorite things were plumerias, dolphins, the Angels, Disneyland, and playing with her grandchildren. Dianne is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (John), son, Richard (Brandi) and son, Derek. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Pamela (Joe), adoring grandchildren, Evan, Christopher, Kaydence, Mikayla and Jacob, nephew, Bryan and grandniece Leah, ex-husband Rick Tiffin, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and her faithful dog, Georgie. She is predeceased by her beloved mother, Lucille Endres Strong; father, Frank Strong; grandparents, Josephine and Basil Endres. We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her much-loved mother who she missed so much over the last 10 years. Dianne was an inspiration to loved ones and strangers alike. She was an incredible mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin, nurse and friend. Dianne was everything to her family and will live in our hearts and memories forever.
