In loving memory of our mother, Doris May Luce, who passed away on June 2nd. Doris was the devoted wife of Edgar Luce and the loving mother of Jeff Luce, Greg Luce, and Brenda Luce. She is also survived by sisters Gerry Vazquez, Shirley Ronsonet, sister-in-law Janis Miller, and seven wonderful grandchildren on whom she loved to dote. Doris will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
Mom was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family first. Doris had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. She was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Growing up, our mom was always there for us, whether it was taxiing us to practices and lessons, or volunteering her time to support our extracurricular activities and hobbies. Doris was a women of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. She was a pillar of her church.
In addition to her travels, Doris loved to spend time in her garden and participated in a bowling league for most of her adult life. She remained close to her family and when her health slowed her down, she found enjoyment in spending time with them playing cards and exchanging family stories. Mother, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much.
~Rest in peace.
