Ernest William Bill Harvey, 86, died in his Yorba Linda home, resident since 1958, on May 28 of a lengthy illness. A former Traffic Engineer at city, county and state levels, he retired to start a self owned and operated family business making wood products. A long time member of Yorba Linda Friends Church, he was also a board member of Released Time Education. As a young man he was trained and commissioned as a pilot in WW II and also served in Korea in that theatre. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 yrs., Peggy; three sons Ross of Murietta, David of Juneau, Alaska and Scott of Bakersfield; daughter Laura Pearson of Yorba Linda; daughters-in-law Nancy, Georgia and Rillia; son-in-law Norman; and 9 beloved grandchildren. Graveside service will be 10 AM Wednesday, June 2 at Loma Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Ken Schemmer of Yorba Linda Friends will Be officiating.
