A limb has fallen from the family tree, I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was still strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin until the day comes, we are together again.”
"Remember who you are, remember where you came from."

Jane grew up on the East Side of St. Paul, Minnesota. She attended and graduated from St. John's Parish elementary school and Harding High School. It was at Harding High she met her first love, Roger Milan. Roger and Jane went to the Prom together, and we still have the picture from that date that we cherish. On January 12, 1954, she married her first love, Roger. Over time they had five children: Mike, Patti, Jeanne, Maribeth and Michelle. They were raising them on Nevada Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota.
After becoming widowed in 1966, Jane decided to make a fresh start, she and her children bravely moved to Southern California settling in Fullerton. It was here Jane met the second great love of her life, Fred Wennerberg. Their marriage combined two families as well as adding two more children, Julie and Danny, making a total of 10 siblings to our family. Fred brought Jane so much laughter, joy, and they truly were committed to each other as well as all their children. Our “Yours, Mine & Ours” family was always up for adventure, whether it was spending time together camping or staying home enjoying a backyard BBQ and splashing in the pool, Mom always had a way to make an ordinary day feel special.
Jane and Fred were the original DIYers, woodworking was a favorite hobby and they loved gifting all of us with unique rocking horses and Christmas decorations we will forever treasure.
Jane and Fred’s home was a revolving door for out-of-town relatives and guests, a very special treat for all who entered and either stayed or just visited for the day. There are so many fun stories from so many visitors to their home. They had a unique way of making all feel welcome and part of the family.
Jane’s vocation was truly loving her family. She adored all of her family, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews. The love Jane had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren is indescribable. Each had a different and unique relationship with her, because she always made each feel special.
We are so thankful she is now in the arms of Jesus, and is with her parents, grandparents, brothers and sister, as well as celebrating with her two great loves, Roger and Fred.
We will miss you so much and we will keep watching for the pennies from Heaven and the flickering lights. Until we meet again...
