Doherty, George F. -2/20/25-8/31/12 A devoted father with his family by his side went to be with The Lord. Worked in commercial art, promoted professional sports including golf. Served in World War II in the Army as a para-trooper of the 11th Airborne division. Survived by his wife of 22 years Dellora Doherty; 4 daughters Colleen Hill, Kandii Bautista, Kittii Doherty, Kellii Rinker as well as their husbands; 10 grandchildren ; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Lilas Harvey, Carol Horton and brother Bill Doherty. Viewing will be on 4-7 PM Sat. 9/8 at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, Fullerton. A celebration of life service will be held 5 PM, Sun. 9/9 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Placentia. Graveside service will be 1:15 PM Mon. 9/10 at Riverside National Cemetery.
