Georgianna Marie Higson died peacefully on September 6, 2021 at age 93 surrounded by her devoted children. She joins in eternal life her husband Charles and siblings James and Loretta. She is survived by her 8 children, 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Georgianna received two Papal Awards for leading a Los Angeles program that served 500 Skid Row homeless twice weekly for 31 years. She was an active member of the Ladies of Charity and Women's Guild. Her services will be held on Friday, September 17 10AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Downey. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
