Gerald Francis Wilhite passed away peacefully on February 21, 2012 in Cypress,California. "Jerry" was born to Don and Helene Wilhite on May 10th, 1943 in Iowa. The family moved to California in the 5O's and settled in Torrance, CA. Jerry attended Bishop Montgomery High School. In 1966, Jerry entered the US Army and served his country for 2 years. In 1967, daughter Lisa was born. Jerry worked in the Aerospace industry for over 35 years starting his career at Hughes Aircraft Company and was currently employed with Raytheon in Fullerton. Jerry is survived by Daughter and Son-In-Law Lisa and Martin Ihlen, Grandchildren Matthew Castillo, Sydnie Castillo, Taylor Castillo and Tyler Ihlen, Mother Helene Wilhite, Brother and Sister-in Law Michael and Pat Wilhite, Brother and Sister- in-Law Eric and Pat Wilhite and many nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Monday 3/5/2012 at 2:00PM at McAulay and Wallace Mortuary 902 N Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92832.
