

James H. Hagge Jr., 56, of Yorba Linda, California, passed away from lung cancer in his home on July 7, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary located at 902 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, California. Jim Hagge was born in Des Moines, Iowa to James H. Hagge Sr. and Anneliese Elizabeth (Zipf) Hagge Bevill on September 5, 1959. He attended Katella High School in Anaheim, California, and married Darla K. (Black) Hagge on September 25, 1984 in Ventura County, California. Jim was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #47, and had a successful career in electrical construction serving as a journeyman lineman, foreman, general foreman and vice-president spanning 38 years. In his spare time, Jim was an avid outdoorsman. He was an active member of the Pomona Valley Rod and Gun Club for nearly 20 years. Additionally, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. A few of his favorite locations included Shaver Lake, Tejon Ranch, and Shasta Lake. Jim Hagge is preceded in death by his father, James H. Hagge Sr. and his beloved friend and mentor, Norman K. Cook. Jim Hagge is survived by Darla K. Hagge (spouse), Brittany and Ryan Hagge (children), Anneliese Bevill (mother), Mona and John Hagge (siblings) and cherished dogs, Dozer and Kayla (aka Mutt and Jeff).
