Jim Henneman was well honored as a hard worker, admirable big brother, faithful Marine, loving father, faithful husband, good provider and friend to many. He loved to be with his family and extended family"he was the eldest of TWELVE CHILDREN!! Several siblings gave their testimonies about Jim as a big brother; it was apparent that he was their hero!! He cared for each of them and took a special interest in his nieces and nephews taking them on many trips. He was a very generous and loving person"that was evident through the speakers testimonies loud and clear, although private as to his own feelings and/or personal battles. He married later in life, about 18 years ago to a very pretty and sweet Vietnamese lady, Cindy, who had a 5 year old daughter. The stepdaughter, Michelle, spoke glowingly of her Papa  at the service. She truly loved him and he very much loved and doted on his daughters. He also had another daughter from that marriage, Katie B. Both girls are very pretty. One of Jims sisters played a beautiful rendition of  Amazing Grace  on her flute, having to stop several times being overcome with grief and tears. He was an amazing Marine to the very end of his life. He served his country well and was very proud of that service. Thank you, Jim, for your faithful service to our country and its defense. Well done, Semper Fi! Goodbye Jim and we share the hope of seeing you again someday!

Deepest condolences to the family from another Magnolia Sentinel who went to school with Jim. I'm glad he was part of my life. There is a new saint in heaven!

To Jims family, my sympathy and condolences, Im sorry to hear of his passing. Jim was a very good friend, and I had the honor of working with him twice. He was always there with advice and friendship, willing to go out of his way for me more than once. He will be missed and I will keep him and his family in my prayers. God Bless.

My deepest sympathy to Jim's family. I was a Magnolia HS classmate of Jim's and we worked together for a few years at Watson Labs in Corona. Jim was a fine man and a true patriot, having served bravely in the Viet Nam War. God bless Jim, now and always.

My deepest condolences to his family. I'm sorry to hear that Jim has passed on. Jim was a good man and a better friend. He will be missed by many. I only worked with Jim for a short time, and built a great friendship during that period. That was evidence of his good heart and sincerity.

Never complained, never stopped, never blamed others, never gave up " that was Jim. Every time I asked him how he was doing, he said the doctors say Im sick, but what do they know?  Family was #1 with Jim " he battled this illness on his feet, not on his back because that was what he wanted to do - for the family. Seeing his girls grow into young women was his delight and what kept him going. His concerns were never for himself, but to make sure the family was safe and secure. Close behind family was the respect and concern he had for his friends. He always took time to call and to listen to your  troubles, even as he was battling his own issues. He treated his friends as if they were part of the family, and in Jims eyes I believe we were. Ive been privileged to know Jim for nearly 20 years " I learned a lot from him both as a professional and as a person. His humor, pragmatic attitude and sound advice formed more of me that perhaps I realize, and I will miss his wise counsel.

It was the little things that we will remember about Jim, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. Although it is hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that will help us push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. We truly miss you Jim. Mr. Henneman the Gentleman.
