James "Jim" Sebastian Hogg

James Sebastian HoggMarch 30, 1979-July 1, 2016Jim passed away on July 1, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He is survived by his mother, Helen, his sister, Ali, his stepfather, Michael, his brother-in-law, Kevin, his nephews, Jack and Johnny, his half-sisters, Erin, Sharon and Laurie, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jim is predeceased by his father, Tom and his best canine friend, Jedi. He was 37 years old.Jim was born in Torrance, California on March 30, 1979. He grew up in Fullerton and attended El Dorado High School in Placentia where he was a member of the soccer team. After high school, Jim worked as a Fabricator at G&L Guitars in Fullerton, a Production Manager at Metalcrafters in Fountain Valley and most recently, a Product Designer for Burly Brand/Progressive Suspension in La Palma. Jim quickly became an expert at almost anything he attempted. Whether it was skateboarding, BMX, surfing, snowboarding, playing music, or working on cars and motorcycles, he was able to do it all…and do it very well. Jim leaves behind a legacy of laughter, artistry, friendship and love, and will be missed greatly by the many friends and family whose lives he touched.Jim’s memorial service will take place this Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary in Fullerton at 11:00am.
