A native of Acuitzeramo, Michoacán, Mexico, Josefina was born on March 19, 1929, to Timoteo and Piedad Jimenez.
Josefina married the love of her life, Adrian J. Perez, on March 19, 1945.
Josefina dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker and was a pillar of her community. She was actively involved with The Sociedad Guadalupana at St. Anthony Claret Catholic Church. She treasured trips with her family and often joked that her purse was always by her side, so whenever her husband, Adrian, wanted to go somewhere, she was ready.
Josefina is survived by her children: Amelia Sanchez, Salud Perez, Mary Sanchez, Frank Perez, Josie Mendez, and Rossana Perez; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Josefina is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Adrian J. Perez, sons Adrian Jr., Mark Perez, and sisters Delfina, Francisca, Piedad, and Elodia.
