At a young age the family moved to Orange County, California, where Kevin lived all of his life. He went to Troy High School and later began his career at Geary Pacific Supply, where he remained for over 40 years. Upon his retirement, Kevin pursued many of his hobbies which included motorcycles, cars, computers and coffee with friends. He greatly enjoyed music and was rarely seen without his signature Hawaiian shirt.
His great sense of humor and generous spirit will be deeply missed.
Kevin is survived by three children, Harry Curtin, Molly Doran (Spencer), Marvella Anderson, one sister, Carole Curtin, two brothers, Brian Curtin (Ellen) and Tim Curtin and many nieces and nephews. Also, he had recently become a proud grandfather of Oona Doran.
Kevin always said "it's a fine day" and shared pictures of what that meant in the moment. Until we can come together to celebrate his life, we would love for you to honor Kevin by having a fine day yourself.
Due to the current pandemic, there will not be any services at this time. A gathering for his family and friends will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would love for you to share stories and remembrances about Kevin in the guestbook below.
