Forney, Kirk David, 65, passed away August 3rd, 2013. He was out fishing and camping with his friends in Lone Pine, CA when he passed from a clot to his lung (DVT). Kirk was born to Donald and Betty Forney in Sioux City, Iowa October 11, 1947. Kirk was a beloved father and is survived by his children Ashley Cantrell and Ryan Forney and his siblings Steven Forney, Craig Forney, and Pam Lawson. Kirk graduated from Central High School in Iowa, class of 1966 and went onto graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BS in Industrial Engineering. He retired two years ago from Northrop as a Certified Professional Project Manager and loved to spend his free time traveling, snorkeling, camping, fishing, and enjoying his family. Funeral services will be held at McAulay and Wallace Mortuary in Fullerton, California on Tuesday, August 13th at 9:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Donate Life Run/Walk, 761 W.
