Leonardo Fernando Vergel de Dios, fondly called "Narding" by family and friends, will be forever remembered as a loving husband, responsible father, and a good provider. Narding is the youngest son of Candido and Rosa Fernando-Vergel de Dios of Angat, Bulacan.
He graduated from Manual L. Quezon University with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. He married his wife Amelia or "Mely" whom he met at a town hospital where she worked as a midwife. After 60 years of marriage, his wife joined her Creator in heaven in 2020.
They raised six children: 2 daughters, Ditas and Michelle, and 4 sons, Reynaldo, Alberto, Ricardo, and Leonardo, Jr. They also have twelve grandchildren. and two great grandchildren.
A visitation for Leonardo will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, 902 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92832.
A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Juliana Falconieri Church, 1316 N Acacia Ave, Fullerton, CA 92831.
