Lillian Mae “Dolly” Rossi, 94, passed away on Aug. 30, 2020. Her legacy includes 6 children: Robert – deceased (Linda) Rossi; James (Darlene) Rossi, Frederick (Patti) Rossi, Samuel (Lillian) Rossi, Deborah (Sheneau) Stanley, Diana (Keith) Endow; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Dolly was “special” to all of her family and friends. One grandson said, “she always made me feel like I was the only grandson.” All of her family and friends have echoed the same sentiment. To Dolly each member of her family and all of her friends were “special.” She sent birthday cards every year to all of her family, usually with a $5. bill and the words, “you are special.” Of course she often also sent cards of love and encouragement to her many friends. Dolly was involved in her church, even up to the last year of her life. She enjoyed singing in the choir, having Bible studies in her home, painting and drawing, gardening and especially cooking for any size group, large or small. Everyone knew Dolly as the “super cook.” Dolly was a true “saint” who believed God’s Word, lived her daily life by its principles and trusted God completely. Her favorite saying when asked how she was doing was, “All is well with my soul.” We all knew this was true and we always knew that she prayed daily for “all to be well” with each member of her family and her friends. Graveside service will be 11 AM Wed. Sep. 9th at Riverside National Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers are requested. Please do this by check.
