Margaret was born in Paducah, KY. She had three daughters by her first marriage. She moved to California in the early 60's with her three girls in search of a better life. She loved to garden, play cards, and be with family. Surviving members include her husband, Gordon Truax, of Fullerton, daughter, Debra Houser, of Fullerton, grandchildren, Dera Aswegan, of Colorado, Heidi Schirer, of Fullerton, great-grandchildren; Maya and Cody Sarpy, of Colorado, Cash and Cole Schirer, of Fullerton. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Zelphyr Harris, daughters, Brenda Meek and Linda Aswegan, grandson, Dale Albert Aswegan, and sister, Mary Crotchet.
