

Martha L. Villareal (nee Leon),Our Casino Ninja, passed away in the early morning hours of September 19, 2026. Martha was a life long resident of Buena Park, living briefly in Arizona for a few years before returning to her hometown where she resided with daughter Irene.
Martha was born June 15, in Norwalk, California. Later, her family would move to Buena Park where she would attend school, graduating from Western High School. Shortly after, she would marry her high school sweetheart, Richard on July 31, 1965. She and Richard were married for 24 years prior to his passing.
Martha enjoyed her many casino adventures with daughter Irene, winning BIG several times over the years. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her grandsons and great grandsons. Martha looked forward to the many letters and cards she received from her sister Mary.
Martha is survived by daughters, Yvonne Torres (Isidro) and Irene Villareal, unofficial sons Paul and Bobby Flores; grandchildren; Julian and Micheal; great grandsons; Atticus and Lucas; sisters; Mary (Alex) Granados and Margaret Furtado; Godchildren; Richard Marquez,
Mercy Martinez, Steven Granados, Yolanda Soto and Meagan Cain, 9 nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins and four-legged grandkids; Lulu, Little Girl, Sullivan, Remy, Liberty and Justice.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents Salvador and Josephine Leon, Brothers, Robert, Ruben and Raymond, Husband Richard and grandson Richard “Matthew” Torres. Martha will be missed by all that knew her and as her grandson would tell her at the end of each call, “I love you to infinity and beyond! While she will be missed by those who loved her, Martha’s absence will be greatly felt at her favorite places, Yaamava and Pechanga Casinos.
