

Martin Victor King, age 79, went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2020 peacefully at his home in Fullerton, California. Martin was born on August 30, 1940. He was one of six children. He grew up in Belvedere Los Angeles. At 16 years old, he moved to Fullerton. While in high school he met Emma Negrete and they were married shortly after in 1960. Emma and Martin were married for 60 years. They had two wonderful children; Lorraine and Rookie, four grandchildren, Natalie, Rochelle, Charles, and Joshua, and two great-grandchildren, Bailee and Isaiah, with a third on the way. The family also includes Byron, Annamarie, and Greg. Although Martin was a painter by trade, his heart was in electronics. He could repair, assemble, and disassemble anything he could get his hands on. Martin was notorious for always having a video camera in his hand. For many years he served as the audio director at his church and did missionary work in Mexicali. His family will cherish his feistiness and strength. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9th 2020 at 11:00 AM at Calvary La Habra, 1370 S. Euclid St., La Habra, CA 90631. Burial will follow at Loma Vista Memorial Park. Due to the pandemic, the burial will be for immediate family and there will be no reception.
