Matthew Rutledge Brown

Matthew Rutledge Brown was born in Santa Monica, California on July 30, 1959 to Robert M. Brown and Mildred K. Brown. Matt grew up in Tustin and attended Foothill High School. Matt was a life long resident of Southern California. He loved surfing and enjoyed the excitement of riding his electric skateboard around Leucadia. Matt also was a creative impressionistic painter and referred to himself as "The Ponto Painter". He enjoyed his guitars and going to rock concerts with family and friends. His sense of humor and quick wit kept us all laughing. Matt peacefully passed away on June 10th, 2015, and survived by his wife of 30 years, Laura, his two daughters Tonya and Erin and his son Dylan; as well as his sister Karen and two brothers Mark and Dave. The memorial service for Matt will be held on June 26th at 11:00 am for close family and friends. Please feel free to leave your thoughts with us as a memorial and tribute to Matt.
