Melvin A Woodward, 90, passed away in his sleep on October 15, 2016 at his home in Yorba Linda. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Georgia, his four adult children: Nancy, Gary, Lauren, Mark and their spouses, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was a World War II veteran and a retired Fullerton Police officer. He was an adventurer and a marathon runner. He enjoyed all sports, especially his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers. Mel was a loving husband, father, and friend to all. A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, October 25 at 11:00 am at Eastside Christian Church in Anaheim, Ca.
