Born in Michigan, Mike made California his home in 1976 after embarking on a cross-country adventure with his wife, Connie. Together, they began their new life in Anaheim before eventually settling in Yorba Linda, where they raised their family and built a lifetime of memories.
Mike's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was the family he built alongside Connie, his beloved wife of 55 years. He was a devoted husband, proud father, and adoring grandfather who found his greatest happiness simply being with those he loved.
Known for his warm personality, outgoing spirit, and quick wit, Mike never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh. He always had a joke ready, could strike up a conversation with anyone, and had an uncanny ability to solve just about any problem around the house. He loved golfing, experimenting with new recipes, and listening to oldies music – especially Roy Orbison, whose voice became the soundtrack to so many family memories. Even in the face of significant health challenges, Mike met each day with quiet strength and resilience, never allowing them to define him.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Connie Daley; his son, Michael Daley Jr., and daughter-in-law, Kristen Daley; his daughter, Jenna (Daley) Figueroa, and son-in-law, Dan Figueroa; his cherished granddaughter, Noelle Figueroa; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Mike will be remembered for the laughter he brought to every room, the friends he made wherever he went, and the deep love he had for his family.
The next time you hear a Roy Orbison song, we hope you'll smile, think of Mike, and remember a life so well lived.
