Oneida D Hughes Our mother passed away Sunday, January 19 at the age of 100. She almost lived til her 101st birthday on the 25th. Born in Cicero, Illinois. She married Sherman Hughes in 1951. He passed in 2000. They had three children, Bonnie (passed away in 2005), Bill (retired and living in Arizona), and Sue (living in San Dimas). She had four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She spent most of her life living in California after marriage. She was devoted to her church (St. Angela). She was a proud Avon Lady serving the Fullerton and Brea area. After our dad’s passing she became a HUGE fan of Michael Buble and listened to only him up to her death. She was known at her assisted living home as Mrs. Buble. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
