Patricia Ellen Murphy

She was preceded in death by her parents George Dutilly and Sylvia Hongisto-Dutilly, husband William Murphy, and is survived by her sisters Jane Dutilly-Broxton and Gail Dutilly-Kapple, children Chris Olson, Stephen Murphy, and Andrea Murphy-Mahoney, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A native Californian and graduate of St. Vincent College of Nursing in Los Angeles, Pat served many years as a general practice nurse before transitioning to TRW in Redondo Beach, CA, as an occupational health nurse and administrator. During her working career she was President of the California Harbor Area Association of Occupational Health Nurses and PTO President at St. Catherine Laboure School in Torrance, CA, where her children attended.

Fondly referred to as Meme and Airplane Grandma, Pat relocated to Maple Grove, MN, following her retirement to join Stephen and his family, until returning to Southern California in 2010. Always eager to share time with her grandkids, Pat could seamlessly transition from Nerf gun battles to a movie with hot chocolate milk.

Renowned as an extraordinary shopper, Pat was as proficient at finding bargains as she was at returns.

Mass will be celebrated at Noon (PDT) on Thursday, March 13, 2025, with burial services immediately following at:
