Ralph Edward Kehoe Jr.

Ralph E. Kehoe, Jr., 88, passed away on September 25, 2015 at his home in Fullerton, California. He was born on December 6, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Ralph and Christine (Thompsen) Kehoe. Ralph grew up in Chicago, Illinois, joined the Navy at the age of 17, serving his country from 1943 to 1945. After discharge, he married his first wife, Thelma (Arndt), now deceased. From that union, 3 children were born, Cathy, Dan and Martie. Later he married his second wife, Esther (Wheeler), now deceased. From that union, he had a step-daughter, Nori, also now deceased. From both marriages, he had 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Ralph was a career iron worker and a proud member of the Iron Workers Union. He served as a California state inspector for Orange County, working on many projects at DisneyLand in Anaheim. Ralph was an active member at St. Juliana's parish in Fullerton. He was a long time member and a very active participant in the Knights of Columbus of Orange County. Ralph is survived by his daughter Cathy (Mike Loomis) of LA Porte, Indiana; his son Dan Kehoe (Cindy) of Plainfield, Illinois; his daughter Martie (Ron Wildt) of Lakeville, Minnesota; his grandchildren and other relatives. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his wives and his sister, Rosemary. Visitation will be at St. Juliana Falconieri Catholic Church 1316 North Acacia Avenue Fullerton, CA 92831, from 6 to 8PM, Friday, October 2, 2015, with a rosary at 7PM. Funeral mass will be held also at St. Juliana Falconieri Catholic Church, at 10:30AM, October 3, 2015. Burial will follow the funeral at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 7845 E Santiago Canyon Rd, Orange, CA 92869.
