Richard Michael Ramirez

Dr. Richard Michael Ramirez, Ed.D., of Fullerton, California, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 81. A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and great-grandfather, Richard leaves behind a family that adored him, his beloved wife Ramona, his children Bob, Lisa, Jesse, and Stephen, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Richard lived a life marked by service, wisdom, and compassion. A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he carried his dedication to others far beyond his military years. He spent nearly four decades in education with the North Orange County Community College District, ultimately serving as Dean and Vice President of Student Services at Fullerton College. His leadership helped shape the lives of countless students and colleagues, many of whom still credit him with inspiring their paths.

Beyond his professional achievements, Richard was deeply involved in his community always guided by a strong faith and a heart eager to serve. He gave generously of his time, his talents, and his kindness quietly creating a ripple effect of positivity and purpose that will endure for generations.

To know Dr. Ramirez was to know humility, strength, humor, and unwavering love. His legacy lives on not only in his family, but in every life, he touched along the way.

He will be missed dearly, but we celebrate a life well-lived, full of service, faith, and heart.
