Rose Mary Bartolone

Rose Mary Bartolone, age 80, passed peacefully on July 6, 2020 due to complications with ovarian cancer.  She was born on September 21, 1939 in Newark, New Jersey.  She was the oldest of 5 children born to Dominick and Nicoletta Minneci.  On August 9th,1958 she married Joseph C. Bartolone in Toms River, New Jersey.   Rose and Joe moved to Placentia in July 1999 from Fountain Valley, CA.

Rose was a dedicated wife and mother to 3 children.  She also embraced the role of Grandmother to 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys, and Great Grandmother to 3 boys.

She was a people person.  She loved many and was loved by many.  She was kind and always smiled and often started conversations with others.  For many years she shared the responsibilities with her husband and sons of running the family business located in Anaheim, CA.  She loved to cook and bake authentic Italian food and goodies.  She also loved to spend time at the Colorado River boating and playing at the casinos.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved celebrating with her beloved family and friends.  One of her favorite hobbies was making Christmas stockings by hand.  

Rose is predeceased by her brother Salvatore S. Minneci, 6/21/1943 ~ 4/30/2007, her sister Anna Lee Minneci, 1/2/1949 ~ 8/17/2011 and her sister Phyllis Minneci Irons, 7/14/1947 ~ 11/20/2019. 

Rose is survived by her brother Dominick J. Minneci, her husband Joseph, her oldest son Joe and his wife DeAnna, her daughter Laurie and her husband Darrin and her youngest son Christopher and his wife Erika.  She is also survived by her Grandchildren Jennifer, Brianna, Ryan and Nicolas and her Great Grandchildren Lorenzo, Luca and Aiden.
