Rozell Pounds Drake was born September 26, 1918 to Arthur and Inez (Robertson) Pounds and was taken by the Lord on June 10. She was preceded in death by brother William and sister Andral. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many. Her caring, strength, fortitude, and inspiration will be forever in our hearts. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, William, her son William, Jr. (Karen), and their children Kristen, Brett, and David, her daughter Rozell Alford (Steve) and children Sarah and Melissa, and niece Yvonne (Ray) and children David and Danny. Prior to her marriage, she worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and Hughes Aircraft, where she worked on the Spruce Goose. She will be laid to rest at Loma Vista Cemetery in Fullerton, on June 21. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Long Beach Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 6/21/2012 at 11:30 AM at McAulay & Wallace Chapel, Fullerton.
