Ruth Peyton Olson

Ruth Peyton Olson lived a full life. She raised eight children with her loving husband Vince. She was surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, and caregivers when she died just short of her 90th birthday. Ruth always had a twinkle in her blue eyes and a smile on her face that would light up a room. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She couldn't sit still if music was playing. Ruth was born July 17, 1925 in Minnesota. She was the second child to Columbus and Margret Peyton. Ruth was always on her toes being raised between two brothers, Bob and Bill. She grew up on a farm and was very much a country girl however she found love in the city. Ruth married Harry Vincent Olson during college at age 21. They started a family right away. They left Minnesota and headed to California shortly after having their third daughter. They had five more children to add to the family in California. The final score was six girls and two boys. Ruth is survived by her children; Mary Bloor, Patricia Miller, Catherine Olson, Therese Bagwell, Michael Olson, Karen Estrada and Christopher Olson. She is survived by grandchildren; Paul and Todd Miller, Ashley Rosario, Anthony Farina, Karisa Olson, Jacob and Garrett Estrada. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; Brent and Noah Miller, Sean and Tyler Young and Trinity Rosario. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Vince Olson and daughter Ann Farina. Ruth Peyton Olson entered eternal life on Monday, May 11, 2015.
