Stanley Oborn Sorensen, beloved husband and father, died of natural causes on July 26, 2014, at their daughter, Teresa and John Shaw's home at Fullerton Orange, California. He was born on June 18, 1928 in Ogden, Weber, Utah. He was an energetic person with a friendly smile, always ready for fun. He loved his family. He participated and loved sports of all kinds, especially tennis, football, waterskiing, boating and golf. His best times were getting together with family and friends, and traveling. Stan is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie Barker Sorensen of Fullerton, CA and his children: Teresa Sorensen and John Shaw of Fullerton; Laurie Sorensen and Russell Miller of Carlsbad, Michael Keith and DeAnn Sorensen of Tustin; and Ronald Scott and Mason Sorensen of Enumclaw, Washington. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held for Stan on August 6, 2014 at 1pm, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2225 N Euclid Blvd, Fullerton, CA.
