Steven Patrick Nelson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Nelson, who left us on April 18, 2025 at the age of 69. Steve was a beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend, whose warmth, humor, and kindness touched everyone who knew him.

Steve Nelson was born in Pasadena, California to Hazel & Ben Nelson. He was raised in Garden Grove, CA by Hazel and his stepfather, Tony and lived in Orange County his entire life. He is survived by his loving wife, Thu Huynh and his two sisters, Kimberly Moore and Michele Weiler as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews and countless friends who loved him dearly.

Steve was the President of Tokistar Lighting and was a guiding light for his employees. He loved his job at which he excelled for over 40 years.

He was a world traveler and loved sharing stories of his international adventures, always with his signature spin and humor. He also loved his local road trips with Thu and her sister, Alana in "The Silver Bullet" Airstream.

Though his time with us was too short, the impact Steve made will last with all that knew him forever.
