It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor a truly remarkable man whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Thomas was born April 22, 1934 in Syracuse, NY to Kenneth and Jennie Jaquith and was 1 of 10 siblings. He passed away peacefully in Brea, Ca surrounded by family and friends. Thomas was a man of great independence and strength. He lived life on his own terms, stood firmly in what he believed, and never needed to follow the crowd. Strong-willed, intelligent and determined, Thomas carried himself with a quiet confidence that made him unforgettable. Though he may not have always realized the impact he had, he touched the lives of so many people simply by being himself. Those who interacted with him will remember his strength, his personality, his stories, and the unique presence he brought into every room. Some people pass through our lives quietly, while others leave a mark that stays with us forever. He was one of those people. Thomas had a special love for animals, especially birds and cats, and his compassion extended to all creatures. He enjoyed the simple things in life, including his cat Crazy, his favorite colors (blue and green), mashed potatoes, club sandwiches, recounting childhood stories with his siblings and his days in the Navy.
Though he may no longer walk beside us, the impact he made and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest peacefully in God’s loving arms, surrounded by the love and peace he so richly deserves.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
