For more than 50 years, Troy shared a loving marriage with his wife, Maria Carmen, and together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and devotion. He was a proud and caring father to his three daughters, Rosanne, Arlene, and Evelyn; a cherished father-in-law to Matthew and Scott; and a beloved grandfather to Stephanie, Allison, Kristen, Emily, Nolan, Tyler, and Jayden.
Troy found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved caring for his birds, propagating his plumerias, watering his lawn, playing bingo, and treating himself to a refreshing horchata or a scoop of ice cream. His warmth, sense of humor, and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Troy served his country with honor. Throughout his life, he connected with countless people during his military service, his work in a bakery and pet store, and later through the many healthcare professionals and caregivers he met during his health journey. Wherever he went, he was known for his kindness, gratitude, and memorable one-liners that could bring a smile to anyone's face.
His grandchildren cherished listening to his stories about his time in the Navy, his years in Florida, and the experiences that shaped his life. Above all, Troy was known for his tremendous work ethic and the pride he took in building a family business alongside his wife and daughters. His dedication, perseverance, and love for his family were evident in everything he did.
Troy is survived by his daughters, grandchildren, and son-in-law. He has now been reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Maria, his cherished granddaughter, Stephanie, and his dear son-in-law, Matthew. His family and friends will miss him deeply and will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Troy was truly one of a kind. His legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
