Victor Norman Winter, 89, went peacefully into the Lord’s presence on April 20, 2017. He was born on September 30, 1927 in Marion, Wisconsin to Emil and Marie Winter. In his late teens Victor and his oldest brother Edwin began cattle ranching in the Akron/Sterling area in northeastern Colorado. He was very kind and generous to his family and many friends and enjoyed fishing and traveling worldwide. On June 24, 1997 he married Joan Tanner. They resided at the ranch in Colorado and in Fullerton, California and continued worldwide travels together. Victor was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan and five of his siblings, Violet Bezokas, Edwin Winter, Howard Winter, Jeanette Snyder and Adrian Winter. He is survived by his sister Elaine (Roscoe) Much of Tigerton, Wisconsin, ten nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. His family extends sincere thanks to his loving caregivers and very special neighbors.
