Abraham Abraham

Suresh was born in Trivandrum on November 6, 1945, to Dr. A. Abraham Ayrookuzhiyil (Puthenkavu) and Grace Abraham Maliackal. He completed all his early schooling in Kerala, and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from the Trivandrum Engineering College. After graduation, he worked for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Trivandrum for about 25 years. Later, he migrated to the United States of America and earned a Masters in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Mississippi. He then worked for two years at INTELSAT, and for fourteen years at AVAYA.

His wife Mrs. Beena Abraham was a teacher for eighteen years at the St. Thomas Residential School, Mukkola, Trivandrum, and later its Assistant Principal for two-and-a-half years. They were married for fifty-one years.

Suresh is survived by his wife Beena, son Ashwin, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary George (Baltimore), Mrs. Nalini Mani (Trivandrum), and Mrs. Malini Stephen (Mumbai).Suresh was a loving and dedicated family man. He was also an avid lover of tending to a wide variety of orchids.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any charitable organization.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD from 10:00AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service starting at 11:00AM.
