Ana Luisa Ibaceta

Ana Luisa Ibaceta (Abuelita), age 95, of Gaithersburg, Maryland was a loving and caring mother,grandmother, and friend. She passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.“Abueli” was great for telling stories over hot tea, a warm hug when you had a long day, and wasexcellent in her coloring book skills. She loved flowers and spending time in the garden, she dearly lovedher grandchildren and enjoyed joking around with her great-grandchildren. Christmas was her favoritetime of the year.She was our mom, our sweet Abuelita. She was the matriarch of our family, and we are heartbroken tolose her.Ana Luisa is survived by her daughters Ana Maria Memari, Rose Juliano, Cristina Fuentes and IsabelFuentes, seven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Mass of Catholic Burial will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 11:00AM followed by avisitation held at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD from 2:00PM until 4 pm. Interment All Souls Cemetery in Germantown on Saturday, November 23rd at 12 Noon.
