
Born on June 12, 1992, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Angie was a remarkable woman whose compassion, strength, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She dedicated her life to helping others and pursued her education with determination and excellence.
Angie earned her Associate’s Degree from Montgomery College and continued her studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where she received her Bachelor’s Degree with a minor in Psychology. Driven by her passion for serving others, she went on to earn her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Salisbury University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and receiving recognition as a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society.
Above all, Angie was a devoted mother. Her greatest joy in life was her children, Lucas Quiroz-Garcia and Briella Quiroz-Garcia, whom she loved unconditionally and cherished beyond measure. She was their biggest supporter, fiercest protector, and greatest source of love and encouragement.
Angie is lovingly survived by her parents, Martha Flores and Guillermo Quiroz; her sister, Amy Quiroz-Flores; her brother, Ken Rafael; her beloved fiancé, Juan Garcia; her treasured children, Lucas and Briella; and many extended family members, friends, colleagues, and loved ones whose lives she touched with her kindness, honesty, and generous heart.
Angie will be remembered for her infectious laughter, unwavering strength, caring nature, and the light she brought into every room she entered. She had a unique gift for making people feel loved, valued, and understood. Her legacy lives on through her children, her family, and the countless lives she impacted through her compassion and dedication to others.
Visitation will be held at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Dr., Gaithersburg, MD on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Martin Of Tours Catholic Church, 201 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, Maryland on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
A Committal Service will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, Maryland.
