Barbara Ann Pedersen

December 1, 1949 – March 5, 2026

Barbara Ann Pedersen (née Collier) passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, surrounded by love, at the age of 76.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Barbara lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and quiet strength. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and each role reflected her deep commitment to caring for others.

As a nurse, Barbara served the community with generosity and devotion for over 50 years, offering comfort and dignity to those in her care. Above all, she cherished her family, finding her greatest joy in time spent with her children, grandchildren and friends.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Robert (Melissa), Sara, and Kevin; her grandchildren, Liam, Hugo, Griffin and Elynor; and her sister, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Roselle and Frank Tempone, Karl and Barbara Pedersen, and Patricia Smith. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 43 years, Robert P. Pedersen.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Barbara's friends Carol, Maggie, and Sharon for their compassionate support during her final weeks, and to the medical teams at Shady Grove Adventist and Casey House Hospice for their care.
