Bernadette Marie Stack

Bernadette was the beloved wife of the late Paul V. Stack and a devoted mother to Kevin P. Stack and Deborah A. Stack. She was a cherished grandmother to Kerry O'Connor, Daniel O'Connor, Catherine Stack, Annabelle Stack, and Lucy Stack. Bernadette is also survived by her younger sister, Maryanne McCormack of Houston, Texas.

She dedicated over thirty years of her life to serving the government with distinction and commitment. Beyond her professional career, Bernadette found great joy in her family and grandchildren, to whom she devoted herself wholeheartedly. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life; she was an active member of Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church in Darnestown, Maryland, where she also volunteered her time generously.

A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, Darnestown, MD on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m.

Bernadette will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Paul, at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
