David Eugene Young

He was born May 20, 1961, in Bethesda, Maryland, a son of James Young Sr. and the late Elizabeth Selby Young, and a brother of Karen Young and the late James Young Jr.

In addition to his father and sister, he is survived by two daughters, Chloe Young and Lacey Young, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

David was passionate about two things: his daughters and dogs. Both of which he would do anything for. He also enjoyed attending Orioles baseball games and Virginia Tech football games where his daughters attended college.

A visitation will be held at DeVol Funeral Home, Gaithersburg, Maryland on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service held at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Germantown, MD. We invite all who knew and loved David to join us in honoring his memory. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter.
