Edna B. Mataac

Born on June 12, 1953, in Orion, Bataan, Philippines, Edna was the beloved daughter of Artemio and Felicidad Binsol. A devoted wife to Arturo Mataac, she lovingly raised their three children: Malou Selman, Rommel Mataac (deceased), and Allan Mataac. As an educator, Edna was deeply respected for her dedication, compassion, and commitment to teaching. Her influence extended far beyond the classroom, leaving a lasting impact on many lives.

Edna found joy in life’s simple pleasures—reading, watching movies, dining out with family, walking in the park, and cherishing moments with loved ones. She is survived by her husband Arturo, her children Malou (and husband Kenny Selman) and Allan (and wife Hazel Maghanoy), and her grandson, Seth Arthur Mataac. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family who were dear to her heart.

In addition, Edna is survived by her loving siblings—Ofelia, Nestor, William, and Rodalyn—and their families, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
