Edward Reilly, Sr.

Edward Reilly Sr. of Gaithersburg, MD passed away suddenly on Friday, July 6, 2018 in Rockville, MD.  Ed was born on March 22, 1940 in Philadelphia.  Ed was a graduate of Radnor High School and St. Joseph University.   He served 4 years with the United State Navy and was a volunteer fireman in Wayne PA.  Ed moved to Maryland in 1974 where he worked with Graybar Electric and Maurice Electric.  Ed spent his summers on the Jersey Shore where he enjoyed the beach, boating, and his family.

Ed was known for his intelligence, kindness and charming sense of humor which showed through his deep blue eyes. He made friends wherever he went and he was loved by many. He will be greatly missed. 

Ed is survived by his wife Joan, his sister Betsy Hirsch (Richard), sister-in-law Jean Trunks and his children, Edward Reilly Jr., (Meredith), Jennifer Frank (Adam), Jean Ricketts (Darryl).  Ed also had much enjoyment with his 7 grandchildren: Sarah, Emily, Justin, Kacie, Garrett, Will and Bryce.
