I worked with Elaine when she was president of Lynnhaven Ladies. What a devoted, kind lady she was. She had served as helping hands head and passed that on to two of us women. She was so concerned that it be carried on to help those in need. I am so glad I knew Elaine.

Elaine was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She took my mother to doctor appointments in The Villages and helped me get her clothes and household items to the Haven after mom passed away. She had so much energy, and always a good story. May she rest in peace. Many prayers to her family. And thank you for her sharing with us.

I was fortunate to be a friend and neighbor in Lynnhaven ... your mom was an extremely caring person -- someone who truly added to our neighborhood. She will be missed.

Elaine was a good neighbor. Always cheerful and eager to chat. She loved talking about her family and days in DC area. Her chicken soup was the best, only surpassed by her pristine flower garden. Peace.

Elaine was our next door neighbor here in The Villages for over 10 years. She loved her garden and when we step out in the morning her many plantings always bring a smile to our face as we remember her toiling in the her garden. RIP Elaine

How well I remember the days when Mike, Jim, and Marguerite were here at St. John's and Elaine spent so much time with us, decorating the showcase windows of the main corridor, seeing to it the hallways were festive for all the holidays, joining in on all the mothers' club events, and being involved in every activity - academic and athletic - that the school sponsored. Elaine fostered such a wonderful spirit here at SJC and her three children stand as witnesses to her enthusiasm. She and I frequently had such fun and informative chats. May the Lord whose generosity cannot be outdone reward her with all the blessings promised to those who are faithful! "May we meet again in heaven. Here's to the days when neighbors knew each other and their kids played together. Here's to our neighbor Elaine, and 9606, which will always be known as the Beckley house.
