Flora Delfina Rojas

Mrs. Flora Delfina Rojas, 83 of Gaithersburg, Maryland, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, surrounded by family in her last days. She was born on April 8, 1942, in Guatemala. She was the eldest child of the late Guadalupe Diaz.

Flora worked at Congressional Country Club in Potomac, MD for 44 years alongside her surviving husband and late eldest son, Edwin. Flora will be remembered for her joyfulness in life, travelling, gardening, cooking, love for family and deeply rooted Christian faith.

Flora is survived by her husband of 62 years, Cruz Alejandro Rojas and their children Elizabeth Rojas, Miriam Rojas, Nelson Rojas; grandchildren Ericka Rojas, Samantha Stackhouse, Danielle Rojas, Alex Rojas, Mya Rojas, Selena Rojas; great-grandsons Mason Rojas and Noah Bailey; sister Maria Carmen Ruiz; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins; grand-fur babies; family members that preceded her in death son Edwin Rojas; brothers Enrique Coton and Orlando Coton.

A visitation will be held at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 201 South Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.
