Francisco Ernesto Hernandez

On March 3rd of 2022 at the age of 92, beloved husband and father, Francisco (Frank) passed away. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Esther, their 4 children, Esther, Frank Jr, Nancy, Santiago, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Frank led an extraordinary life and was an active participant in major events of the 20th century. He was forced to leave 2 countries to finally settle in the US where he and Esther built a wonderful life together for their 4 children. A shining example of the American Dream, sheer hard work, determination and fatherly love, he set a path that reverberates strongly through his children and grandchildren. Love of God, love of family, honour, and truth were the bedrock of his beliefs. He will be missed in the flesh, but his spirit lives within us all. To us he is our hero.

Friends may call at St John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD on Tuesday, March 8th from 10:30am where Mass will follow starting at 11:30am. Burial services will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Road, Germantown, MD
