Helena Marie Ford of Gaithersburg, MD passed away suddenly on Tuesday April 21, 2020 just a few days after her birthday. Daughter of the late Jacob and Florence Ford. Helena is survived by a few family members, friends and co-workers she loved as family and her closest loves Rusty and Nikki, her dogs.
Helena was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years as well as an educator in the nursing field. She dedicated the majority of her nursing career caring for the elderly. When not working Helena enjoyed crafts and travel, especially Gettysburg, PA as she enjoyed learning about the Civil War.
A memorial service has not been planned, those closest to Helena will be notified when arrangements have been made. If you would like to make a donation, the Alzheimer’s Foundation was Helena’s charity of choice.
