Joel J. Lynn died after a lengthy illness. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Edward and Frances Lynn. He graduated from Brown University after which he entered the Marines. He served in Vietnam and was award the Purple Heart. He spent several years as a stockbroker before he decided to learn clock-making. After school and apprenticeship, he opened his own clock repair business. He retired in 2016. Joel was an avid bicyclist, flyfisher, bird-watcher and sailor. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Susan Weitzman and brother, Edward Lynn. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; niece Chaya Spencer (William); and nephews Charney Weitzman (Moire), and Mark Lynn. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
